It sounds like you guys would enjoy ‘Generation Kill’. It was a 7 part mini series on HBO co-written by David Simon and Ed Burns that aired in 2008. It is about the beginning about Iraq Invasion in 2003.

I few months ago I also watched a ‘Wilfred’ marathon on IFC (or Sundance, can’t remember). It was enjoyable, and hopefully FX can improve it. The gimmick works because the show is about the relationship between the dog, the owner, and the man. The owner is more like the straight man of the 3 characters, so I’m interested to see how Elijah Wood will play his character.

They did do a show about a group of soldiers in the iraq war, i think it was on FX and was called “Over There”

Everything Greg? Really? Big fan of the movie Hitman I take it? That bastard owes me a letter of apology for paying to see that piece of garbage. Although to be honest, it’s probably the only really bad thing I’ve seen him in to date.

Agen rhymes with Reagan. My “Home Movies” pitch: is recorded first, with the main three in the booth w/ lots of improvisation and is awesomely conversational and sounds unwritten.

Sad to hear about Lights Out’s ratings. Makes Tim sad.

Should be a show: I just read Jonathan Hickman’s “Pax Romana” — That’d get the sci-fi AND revisionist history in one show. And religion and civics.. HBO do it up like Rome. Successive seasons could jump through the timeline and explore different periods. (“Should be a Show” should be a new segment on the TVd)

Anyone else think FOX should’ve aired the pilot of ‘The Chicago Code’ after Super Bowl? Its not like Glee needs the help with the ratings.

  they would’ve had me. seems like the ideal viewing audience for chicago code as well. Football fans. Glee was a terrible choice.
