That is, if you can get off the The Social Network …

Every week I compile drink pairings for some of the DVDs and Blu-Rays that are released, so that you can christen your shiny additions to the collection in style. This week has an over abundance of wolf type movies.

This long movie is now longer. It has a civil war soldier hanging out with Native Americans… and wolves-ish.
You might need a drink.

A Black Wolf (shot)

Ingredients:

  • 15 ml Black Sambuca
  • 15 ml Green Chartreuse
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce
  • crushed ice in a glass
  • garnish with mint leaves

It will make you a man.


Alpha & OmegaDances with Wolves (20th Anniversary Extended Cut)

This movie is about mating. They try not to say that it’s about mating, but it’s about mating. Mating is a science word for sssss……
This movie isn’t, otherwise, very scientific.

A Howlin’ Wolf (highball)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz  Vodka
  • 1/2 oz White Creme de Menthe
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • Ice cubes
  • Fill with Sprite.

This drink is a ridiculous mating of sweet and tart, a perfect fit for this movie.
